Calcium - Day 8 - Throne of Scorpio
We remember at the Round Table that the twelve thrones do not divide matter: they surround it in order to know it from the whole. At the center remains Excalibur, the axis of calibration, and beneath its invisible blade, the Philosopher’s Stone is formed as the conscious ordering of contemplated matter. For thirteen days, each throne observes the same particle, measures it according to its function, and offers its perspective to the center. At the conclusion of the cycle, Thoth-Merlin gathers the twelve perspectives and seals a new layer of the Stone.
During this cycle, its form is expressed as Calcium: an element with the symbol Ca and atomic number 20. This is the substance we are ordering. Today, particle number 20 of the Philosopher’s Stone enters the Round Table to be observed from the throne of Scorpio.
Calcium: Throne of Scorpio
Today we share the perspective of Scorpio. From this throne, we observe what happens when the Calcium signal loses its boundaries. Scorpio contemplates the same particle capable of activating a cell, transformed into a destructive force when it remains where it should not or reaches concentrations that the system can no longer regulate.
How does Calcium express itself?
The effectiveness of Ca²⁺ as an intracellular signal depends on its free concentration in the cytoplasm normally remaining low and increasing only in a controlled manner. Cells expend energy on pumps, exchangers, and internal stores that remove Ca²⁺ after each signal. If this regulation fails and cytoplasmic Calcium remains excessively elevated, it can activate degradative enzymes, disrupt mitochondria, and contribute to pathways of cellular injury and death.
Thus, the same particle that, at appropriate concentrations and for appropriate durations, activates movement, secretion, or gene expression can become an agent of damage when its signal fails to end. The difference between information and toxicity lies in the regulation of space, concentration, and time.
What does it reveal?
When observed from the throne of Scorpio, Calcium reveals that a necessary signal can become destructive when it refuses to end. Intensity is not dangerous solely because of its magnitude; it can also become dangerous because of its duration.
Excalibur calibrates particle number 20 to recognize when a force that initiated a transformation must be withdrawn. Calcium teaches that dying to a state also means stopping the signal that kept it active, so that another may begin.
How do we integrate it?
At the center of the Round Table, the candle remains lit. It does not represent Calcium or the throne that observes it: it keeps visible the still point from which all perspectives can come together without becoming confused. Observe the flame until you recognize the moment when an intensity must cease so as not to destroy the vessel that sustains it.

Mind — Focus
Hold a single affirmation internally: «I recognize when to withdraw in order to restore balance».
Emotion — Cleansing with the Candle
Light a candle and observe it in silence. Take three slow breaths. With each exhalation, release obsession, the difficulty of closing processes, and the need to keep an emotion active after its information has already been received.
Emotion is brought into order through transformation.
Action — Integration into the Body
Pour a glass of water and hold it between both hands. Say three times: «I release what has already completed its cycle and open myself to transformation». Drink slowly, allowing the action to become integrated into the body.
